Alliance Care Academy...one year on

The Alliance Care Academy was set up just one year ago with the aim of helping people get the skills needed to become a home carer.

We have now run four academies with the most recent one taking place in September. Everyone who attends is guaranteed a job interview at the end.

One year on, 71 people have been through the care training and we have offered jobs to 52 people who now work for Alliance Living Care.

At the end of September the Care Academy was recognised in the prestigious Business Leader Awards, which showcase the region’s outstanding companies. The team was proud to be awarded the ‘Business in the Community’ Award for their work with the Care Academy.

If you’re interested to find out more about the Care Academy visit our Care Academy webpage and get in touch if you’re interested in upcoming Care Academy’s.
