If you want to end your tenancy you need to:
- Make sure your rent account is clear.
- Leave the property in good condition as you will be charged for any damage that is not attributable to fair wear and tear.
- Give us at least 4 weeks notice in writing including:
|the date you intend to leave
|your forwarding address
|a contact telephone number
If you are acting on behalf of a tenant who has passed away, please:
• Notify us of the death as soon as possible. If you do this promptly we will not charge rent on the tenant’s home if you return the keys to us within 2 weeks and as long as you:
|Give us access to the property at your earliest convenience so we can get ready to carry out any repairs that may be needed before it is re-let.
|Provide us with a copy of the death certificate once you have it.
|Leave the property in a clean and tidy condition, cleared of all furniture and other belongings.
